Hello world. My name is Bumbleton Blunderbuss and I am an elf at the North Pole. Instead of making toys (bah!), I am the head musicologist at the Clausplex.

I oversee the Christmas music library and ensure that all Christmas songs and carols get checked out for the holidays and returned after the new year. Off-season, I make sue the songs are looked after and, if necessary, repaired or reconditioned.

I used to love my job; it was filled with hour after hour of beautiful Christmas music, every day of the year. However, in recent times, the workload has increased, what with stores pushing to start the Christmas season earlier and earlier and, what’s worse, there has been a lot of really annoying Christmas music that has been produced in recent years. I don’t understand why people would want to celebrate this best of all seasons with such cacophonies! It’s enough to drive one to abuse the eggnog…!

I decided to start this blog to vent my frustration and air my grievances. Things are coming to a head. I can’t stand it anymore. Christmas music is a privilege not a right, so it may just be time for me to take matters into my own hands….
