Orange jello.
I stand by it.
And, it’s jello, not ‘jelly’,
like it says on the packets over here!
Eggs…eggs are for when you’re on the mend.
Orange jello sees you through the worst.
Oh, when I make that cookbook for you,
I’ll make sure that this is included,
with detailed instructions!
Useful to note:
they sell vegetarian ‘jelly’.
It’s harder to find, but it exists!

The medicinal properties of orange jello in a white bowl are enhanced when it is cut into cubes with a bread and butter knife.

Apparently, yellow comes off as orange to people on that side of the pond. I would call that jello in the white bowl yellow of an almost cadmium variety, like the yellow of raw egg, not orange. Then again, I would call it also the color of a natural orange, which is a light orange, pale enough to seem yellow orange!!??
But orange jello here, in the US is electric orange, a more intense orange, closer to a brilliant American Southwest sunset or an orange balloon.
Because orange is a secondary color, Itten would argue that it should be cut up in nearly basic geometric solids. If the jello was red, yellow or blue jello, that is primary colors, then definitely it should be cut into basic geometric solids. Not so with the less concrete tertiary colors!
Love the post!
